Bought large fish and battered chips with mushy peas and curry sauce for £13 and it could easily of fed two people. Great food. All fresh and tasty.

First time for me at this place. Bought two cod and a regular battered chips and a curry sauce. Served by a really nice girl who was so polite. The fish was perfect and I mean PERFECT. The batter was crispy and light and the fish was firm, white and broke into lovely pieces when you opened it up. The fish reminded me of seaside fish. The flavour was fabulous and none of that sloppy mush goo you get in a lot of battered fish. The chips we so nice. Crispy and creamy inside. The premises were so clean and tidy. Well done folks you are my go to chippy from now on even though you are quite a distance from me. If I could give you six stars I would. Thx

My dad has always rated this place so I went with him to see what all the fuss is about. It was worth going out of my way to get the best fish and chips I have had for many months! Battered chips and a huge fish. Freshly cooked - just super. Not the cheapest but sometimes you don't mind paying a bit extra for quality. I can imagine that it can get very busy at times. There is parking around the back. It is a bit out of my way, but if I’m anywhere nearby, and I fancy excellent fish and chips, I don’t know of anywhere better.
